Speedflex Q&A – Lauren Hills

Speedflex Q&A – Lauren Hills

Tuesday 26th September 2017

Earlier this month Speedflex officially launched the studio in Reigate, in local gym One Premium Fitness. So what better time to get you acquainted with Speedflex’s newest Trainers on the block, starting with Lauren!

Who is your hero/who do you look up to?

I wouldn’t say I have a hero but someone I definitely look up to would be my favourite fitspo Carys Gray, I’ve followed her story for a while and I just think she is a really good role model for young girls! Not to mention the major booty gains…!

Where in the world would you most like to visit?

Disneyland Orlando, I never had the opportunity to go when I was younger and it is still on my bucket list, you’ll never be too old for Disney!

What’s your favourite film and song?

Girls Trip! It came into cinemas this year and after seeing the trailer I had to watch it! I dragged my boyfriend along, it has a great story line and it is definitely the funniest film I’ve ever watched.

As for a song, right now I’m loving Rudimentals ft. James Arthur ‘Sun Comes Up’, but I’m sure I’ll over do it and be sick of it soon enough!

If you could have any job in the world, which one would you choose?

To be able to market fitness in a way it would inspire the younger generations to take part in physical activity, the benefits that come with physical activity are insane, mentally and physically!

What’s the best piece of advice anybody has given you?

Just a few years ago my nan said to me ‘it’s Mind over Matter’, and from then on I say it to myself whenever something gets tough… I love it and live by it!

If you were stranded on a desert island and you could choose three things to have, what would they be?

A Labrador puppy for company, unlimited cinnamon swirls and obviously a camera.. imagine the photo opportunities!

You’re hosting a dinner party and can invite any three people (dead or alive) who would you invite and why?

Jack Whitehall and James Corden because they’re hilarious! My nan to cook of course.. she definitely gives Mary Berry a run for her money!

What one item would you want to save if your house was on fire?

I’d grab my childhood teddy koala ‘Bert’, some things just can’t be replaced and Bert is one of them!

If you could only eat one meal for the rest of your life, what would it be?

Poached eggs on toast, the yolk has to be runny!!!

For you, what’s the best thing about training at Speedflex?

I love that it can become really competitive, once you know a few people in the sessions, you find yourselves racing each other around the Speedflex studio. You burn an unbelievable number of calories in such a short amount of time!
